I wish I could give credit to the writer of this quote – I couldn’t find the source.

I don’t know about you, but I’m the type of person who after lots of transformation, self-healing and creating change – can tend to feel like I have to keep grow, grow, GROWING! I love the thrill of getting to the other side of doing scary things. It’s most likely what keeps me motivated as a goal-getter and always looking ahead to the next milestone. But I have to remind myself that I can’t always be working towards the next achievement. I can’t always see things come to fruition on the daily.

Instead of hustling I want to remember to align.

Instead of striving – I want to allow.

Like the ebb and flow of the tide, the waxing/waning of the moon, the cyclical transition of the seasons, I can look to Mother Nature who models in complete perfection the knowing, the expectation and the faith without ever worrying or forcing things to happen.

All is unfolding in divine timing. I’m grateful for the cold and blatant reminder as I look out the window, and put on another layer to stay warm as winter does her thing.

During this ‘wintering’ time, I get to prepare, reflect, celebrate past success, live and work quietly. With peaceful anticipation and faith I am reassured with the reminder that before I know it, I will once again see the seedling sprout from beneath the surface of the soil.

We just don’t know from moment to moment what gifts we’ll receive from the Universe or how they’ll show up.
We can relax with gratitude in this sentiment. All is well. And with that comes a huge, liberating sense of relief.
