I’m sure you’re aware of this, but – how ever you’re feeling attracts more of the same into your world. So the more you feel well and happy – the more you will be attracting that kind of energy into your life. I was raised hearing ‘it’s Murphy’s Law – whatever can go wrong – will go wrong’, but nobody ever outwardly taught me about the opposite — ‘whatever can go right – will go right’! Happy coincidences can happen too. Why is it so easy for people to believe in a negative outcome rather than a positive one? It’s because it’s what we’re taught!
I think the opposite of Murphy’s Law might be serendipity. I also like to think there are no such thing as coincidences in this life. The definition of serendipity is: ‘the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way’. Personally, I would like to believe that serendipities are not always up to chance. For me – ‘chance’ is really the Universe’s way of putting an opportunity in my path based on what I’ve been putting out there in the first place. And the more I practice this belief and act accordingly – the more and more evidence of this truth keeps showing up for me. That said, at times I need to remind myself of this truth, and reframe my perspective when I look at my present circumstances when/if they’re not quite where I’d like I want them to be.
I like this description I found on the net ‘Serendipity is the happy culmination of a journey or path you never knew you were taking in the first place. It’s unintended discovery’. Is serendipity a feeling? I know that when we’re feeling good, the more inclined we are to have things go our way. Which indicates we would have more serendipities occur for us as well, right? What do you think?
